The Cold Spring Silver Springers won the second game of their league doubleheader 1-0 against the Fort Ripley Rebels on Satruday afternoon in St. Mathias.  The offense collected eight hits and played solid defense while Joe Kounkel pitched his second complete game of the day to pick up the win on the mound.  He allowed no runs on seven hits, three walks, and struck out four.

Scoring Summary:

The only run scored in the game was by the Silvers in the top of the fourth inning.  Mike Arnold singled, stole second, and then scored on a single by Todd Geislinger.  Fort Ripley had the bases loaded with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning, but a popout and groundout ended the game with Cold Spring on top 1-0.
